ALETTA WENAS
Is a Los Angeles-based Concept Artist working in film, animation, and games.
With a start in the games industry, her focus on cinematic narrative driven stories, hard surface concepts and environment designs led her to various film and series projects after pushing her skills and artistry with AAA game developments.
Notable credits include Dan Trachtenberg’s PREDATOR : KILLER OF KILLERS, James Gunn’s CREATURE COMMANDOS, Dreamworks Animation’s JURASSIC WORLD CAMP CRETACEOUS, Bruce Timm’s BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER and Ascendant Studios’ sci fi FPS game IMMORTALS OF AVEUM.
Upcoming film and series releases include MAGIC THE GATHERING, MIGHTY NEIN, STRANGER THINGS: TALES FROM 85, and the BATMAN: KNIGHTFALL film trilogy series.
As an instructor with Academy of Art University’s Visual Development Department in San Francisco, she also directed a team of students in a collaboration with the Industrial Design Department on a concept vehicle design presentation with AUDI.
Growing up in Jakarta’s high density urban sprawl triggered her fascination with the dystopian worlds of The Matrix series, Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Tekkaman Blade, and Akira. Also an avid gamer since childhood with a library backlog of JRPGs and Strategy/Tactics games.
