ALETTA WENAS
Is a Los Angeles-based Concept Artist working in film, animation, and games.
Starting from the console games industry, her focus on narrative driven stories, hard surface, and cinematic designs led her to film and TV after pushing her skills and artistry with AAA game developments.
Notable credits include BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER, James Gunn’s CREATURE COMMANDOS, JURASSIC WORLD : CAMP CRETACEOUS, MORTAL KOMBAT: SNOWBLIND, the SPYRO: REIGNITED Trilogy, The WALKING DEAD: Final Frontier, and IMMORTALS OF AVEUM.
Upcoming film and show releases include Dan Trachtenberg’s PREDATOR : KILLER OF KILLERS , Titmouse Studio’s MIGHTY NEIN, and Netflix’s STRANGER THINGS animated series.
As an instructor with Academy of Art University’s Visual Development Department in San Francisco, she also directed a team of students in a collaboration with the Industrial Design Department on a concept vehicle design presentation with AUDI.
Growing up in Jakarta’s high density urban sprawl most likely triggered her fascination with the dystopian worlds of The Matrix series, Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Tekkaman Blade, and Akira. Also an avid gamer since childhood with a library backlog of JRPGs and Strategy/Tactics games.
